St. Eanswythe's Church, November 18, 2024
On Sunday, a special Choral Evensong service took place at St. Eanswythe’s Church, marking the momentous occasion of the translation of the Relics of St. Eanswythe. The service, which drew a large congregation, was streamed live to viewers around the world by KAV Productions, showcasing our church's rich history and the reverence surrounding St. Eanswythe's remains.
St. Eanswythe, who passed away in 640 AD at the young age of 26, is one of the few saints whose bones are still preserved. The relics were hidden when the church was founded in 1137, and were rediscovered in 1885 when builders unearthed a lead reliquary containing human remains. In 2020, osteoarchaeologists confirmed the remains were indeed those of St. Eanswythe through analysis of teeth and bones. A stunning new glass reliquary has been crafted to house these sacred relics, adding to the reverence of the service.
KAV Productions, known for their professional live streaming services, was invited to broadcast the event to a global audience. Using five cameras and a two-person crew, the live stream captured every moment with precision, allowing people from all corners of the world to witness this historic event.
During the service, several of the worship leaders from St. Eanswythe’s Primary School shared the story of our patron saint, telling her tale through both narration and acting. The children did an exceptional job performing, bringing to life the legacy of St. Eanswythe's dedication, faith, and love for her community. These values continue to inspire us as a school and church family.
The service concluded with the relics being placed back into their resting place in the North wall near the main altar, after which Father Chris securely locked the small door. It was a deeply meaningful moment for all who attended, and the live stream allowed many more to share in this sacred event.
For those who missed the live broadcast, KAV Productions' live streaming services ensure that significant events like this can be revisited anytime, providing a lasting digital record of our church’s heritage.
NHS Live Streaming Case Study
We are frequently approached to provide expert live streaming services for NHS events, including award luncheons and Annual General Meetings (AGMs) across the South of England.
Our live streaming team has been fine-tuned for efficiency and professionalism, operating with a streamlined 2-man crew. We deliver high-quality 3-camera live mixing, with an additional 4th input to seamlessly integrate PowerPoint presentations or videos during the event.
While NHS venues typically provide in-house equipment, we operate independently to ensure superior broadcast quality. We bring our advanced 6x 4G bonding solution, leveraging multiple 4G connections for enhanced stability. Should it be necessary, we can also connect to the venue’s internet or use Starlink for reliable connectivity.
Our setup is fast and efficient, typically taking no more than 2 hours to get everything in place. However, we always welcome a little extra time to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Engagement is key, and we often incorporate live Q&A sessions and interactive live chat boxes, which we fully manage throughout the event.
The live streams usually last up to 2 hours, with our team providing a professionally edited video that is "top-and-tailed" for download, allowing the NHS to upload it to their internal servers for later viewing.
Our reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism has earned us recognition within the NHS, and we are proud to be a trusted partner. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and supporting the NHS with more live streaming events this year.
